Ania produces and performs original electronic music under the alter-ego Synthotronica. Her debut solo album UFORIK was released in 2019, combining lush soundscapes with driving beats, heavy bass and screaming leads to create an album of evocative cinematic electronic with track DAFNE short-listed as a semi-finalist in the International Songwriting Competition 2019, and leading to three full house audiovisual performances at the Melbourne Planetarium for Party Beyond 2019.
Synthotronica's repertoire has since expanded to include her electro sax live performance sets, which combine fat beats with fatter synths and feature live baritone sax and triangle. Synthotronica's live performances are a culmination of the many different musical influences that have comprised her musical career to date, from playing in world music bands to brass bands to circus bands to live electronica, and heavily inspired by her background in performing live scores to circus and theatre shows. Her upbeat performances feature electronic beats in Afrobeat, wonk step, Steampunk swing, Ethio Jazz, Cumbia, dub/reggae, and Latin glitch-hop genres combined with live baritone sax and percussion, and she has had crowds up and dancing at the following:
