Ania produces and performs all original music under the alter-ego Synthotronica. Her debut solo album UFORIK was released in 2019, combining lush soundscapes with driving beats, heavy bass and screaming leads to create an album of evocative cinematic electronic with track DAFNE short-listed as a semi-finalist in the International Songwriting Competition 2019, and leading to three full house audiovisual performances at the Melbourne Planetarium for Party Beyond 2019.
Synthotronica's repertoire has since expanded to include her electro sax live performance sets, which combine fat beats with fatter synths and feature live baritone sax and triangle. Synthotronica's live performances are a culmination of the many different musical influences that have comprised her musical career to date, from traditional and contemporary music from around the globe to brass bands to circus bands to live electronica, and heavily inspired by her background in performing live scores to circus and theatre shows. Her upbeat performances feature Afrobeat, Balkan Beat, Ethio Jazz, Cumbia, Dub/Reggae, Electro Swing, Latin glitch-hop genres and more combined with live baritone sax and percussion. Her irresistibly danceable all original sound has been described as Wonkadelic Funk, Steampunk Swing, Jazz Techno, and Cosmic Groove, and has entertained audiences around the world at the following events:
