Ania produces original electronic music under the alter-ego Synthotronica. Drawing on her ever-expanding collection of synthesisers and sound-making machines, her music traverses many genres, combining lush soundscapes with driving beats, heavy bass and screaming leads to create an original sound that is evocative, dynamic and richly melodic. Her debut solo album UFORIK was released in 2019, with the track DAFNE short-listed as a semi-finalist in the International Songwriting Competition 2019. Synthotronica's repertoire features a variety of sets, from chill downtempo ambient electro to the driving, synth-laden cinematic grooves of UFORIK, and her dance set which features electro world grooves (reggae, dub, Cumbia, Afrobeat, wonk-funk) with live baritone sax and percussion (listen on Soundcloud). Synthotronica performances include Tollwood Winter Festival 2018; the Melbourne Planetarium; club Geral, Desvio and Honk! Festival Rio de Janeiro; Summer Chills Mildura; Karnidale Circus Festival 2020; The Commons, Brunswick, and the Renaissance Festival 2021.
